Siddhipur .Shree Siddhi Mangal Secondary School in Siddhipur-6, Mahalaxmi Municipality, Lalitpur was affected by the earthquake which disturbed the education of 522 students. Urban Environment Management Society (UEMS), with the support of Secours populaire français(SPF), Essonne Federation rehabilitate the school and resumed academic activities as usual. After demolishing the classrooms damaged by the earthquake, the foundation stone of new school building was laid amidst a formal program held on 11th November 2017. The Chief Guest to the program, Mr Rameswor Shrestha, Mayor of Mahalaxmi Municipality, laid the foundation stone of the school building. Mr. Ismail Hassouneh, SPF National Secretary, Ms.Annie Grinon, General Secretary, SPF Essonne Federation, Mr. Sébastien Tholot, Lyon Federation also participated in the foundation laying. Then the construction works were initiated. All constructions are earthquake resilient and child friendly.

The inauguration of the newly constructed building and handover of the building program is being done on 24th April,2019 by the chief guest, Former Prime Minister and CPN Chairperson Mr. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.
